01 Services

Five crafts.

We keep the roster short so the work stays sharp. If it’s on this list, we’re serious about it.

02 Example Styles

Somewhere to start.

Four directions, not a menu. Every site we make is designed custom, from a blank page — no two Foundry sites are the same, and yours won’t be either.

The Bold One

Style 01

Bars / Barbers / Gyms / Creative trades

Confident and unmissable. For businesses that want to feel like the main event.

The Clean One

Style 02

Clinics / Consultants / Accountants / Trades

Quiet authority. Everything easy to find, nothing shouting.

The Warm One

Style 03

Cafés / Bakeries / Florists / Makers

Cosy without the clip-art. A site that almost smells like fresh bread.

The Lively One

Style 04

Fitness / Events / Kids’ clubs / Community

Big energy, zero chaos. Bright where it counts, clear where it matters.

Custom, every time — no two Foundry sites are the same

03 Process

One message.
One week.

Step 01Day 0

Get in touch

Message us on Facebook or email with the checklist below. That’s the whole brief — no forms, no meetings you don’t want.

Step 02Day 1

We confirm

You get a straight answer within a day: what’s possible, what we’d suggest instead, and a fixed quote. Confirm the order and the clock starts.

Step 03Days 2–6

We build

Your site, drawn from scratch and built by hand. You’ll see a preview mid-week — tweaks are part of the deal, not an extra.

Step 04Day 7

You’re live

Live within a week of order confirmation, tested on real phones. Host it with us or take the files and host it yourself — it’s yours either way.

The whole brief is one message.

No discovery workshops, no twelve-page questionnaires. Send us these six things by Facebook message or email and we’ll take it from there.

  1. Your business name — and what you do, in a sentence.
  2. Any design ideas you have. If something won’t work, we’ll say so straight — and offer what will.
  3. Where you’re based.
  4. Your Google Business page, if you have one — just the link.
  5. Your contact details.
  6. What the page should include — menus, prices, photos, booking, anything.

04 The Studio

Templates made the web cheap. They also made it forgettable. We exist for the businesses that noticed.

The Design Foundry is a small independent studio on Merseyside. No account managers, no ticket queues, no handing your project down a chain — the person you message on day one is the person who designs, builds, and launches your site.

We stay small on purpose: fewer projects at a time, more care in each one, and a promise we can actually keep — order to live in seven days.

05 Our Word

You’ll always deal with the person actually building your site. No account managers, no scripts, no “let me check with the team.”

Our promise — on every project

A fixed quote before we start. Live within seven days. And if an idea won’t work, we say so before you spend a penny.

Hosting? Your call.

Want us to handle it? We’ll price hosting into your quote when you order. Rather run it yourself? We hand everything over on launch day. Your site is yours either way — no lock-in, no hostage websites.

Not sure which fits? Message us the problem — we’ll tell you honestly.

07 Questions

Asked, answered.

The things people usually want to know before they message. Anything else — just ask.

When do I pay?

A £50 deposit when you decide to go ahead — that’s what confirms your order and books your build week. The rest is due when your site’s ready to go live. The quote you approve is the price you pay; nothing gets added in between.

How can you build it in a week?

Because the brief is one message, we take on a small number of projects at a time, and there’s no chain of approvals — the person you talk to is the person building it. If a project genuinely needs longer, we’ll say so in the quote, not on day six.

What if I don’t like it?

You’ll see a preview mid-week, not a big reveal at the end. Tweaks at that stage are part of the build, not an extra — we’d rather change it twice than launch something you’re lukewarm about.

Do I need my own domain?

If you already have one, we’ll use it. If not, we’ll help you register one when you order — usually £10–£15 a year, and always in your name. Same rule as everything else: no lock-in.

What do you need from me?

Six things, one message: your business name, any design ideas, where you’re based, your Google Business page if you have one, your contact details, and what the page should include. The full checklist is in the Process section.

What happens after launch?

Host with us or take the files and host it yourself — your site is yours either way. Need a change down the line? Message us: small tweaks are usually quick, and anything bigger gets a quote before we touch a thing.
